Solar Winds
What winds of light you breathe!
That when they shine through me
I’m as good as air,
Dandelion dust suspended in your light.
Your golden hands carry me,
Take me down fields and forests
And scatter me about the bounty of life
That devours every piece of me.
You signify the reincarnation of a sun.
Its ashes were remade into you
Yet your fire grows stronger,
Fiercely burns me as I fall.
You cannot be mine
Because you are holy.
You were not meant for mortal hearts to keep.
Etched into my darkness as a redolence of joy
You remain the guardian of my hope.
